Various levels of recording services are available to save lenders the time and effort of dealing with multiple county recording offices.

Our standard recording service includes:

• a basic review of the security instrument for completeness

• advancing the county recording fees

• storing the presentation date in the ELS database and making it available to the lender

• confirming receipt of the security instrument by the recording authority

• storing the recording information on the ELS database and making it available to the lender

Other recording options are available including updating each order prior to filing to help ensure against intervening liens.

We make invoicing simple by sending the lender a single itemized statement detailing service fees separately from the county fees we advance.

Rest assured too. ELS is on the forefront of electronic recording. The same advanced technology we used to build the ELS System and ELSonline is being readied to electronically record security instruments in the near future. Stay tuned for further developments.
